What We Do

Working  with a variety of Primary and Secondary schools, Colleges, Universities and alterative educational provisions across the whole of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, we offer online and face to face 1:1 counselling for students and staff, staff training and bespoke workshops for students. Our bespoke packages are created dependent upon the needs of the school/education provision.

Counselling provides a young person with the opportunity to express and explore their feelings in a safe and contained environment, free from judgement. The methods we utilise within our sessions will be dependent upon the child’s age, situation and their development. There are a number of methods that we may use to encourage children to express their feelings better, such as through play, art and more creative interventions and activities. Older children and adolescents may prefer talking therapy, or a mixture of talking therapy and creative interventions. This is down to the young person and the counsellor, who will discuss the situation together to learn what method will be most beneficial.

"The most recent survey of the mental health of children & young people in England found that 12.5% of 5 to 19 year olds had at least one mental disorder when assessed (2017), and 5% met the criteria for 2 or more mental disorders"*

1 1:1 Sessions in Colleges and Universities

A fully qualified and experienced therapist can provide one-to-one counselling sessions, either online or face to face within the College or University, for 45-50 minutes per week for a minimum of a 6-week period.

Each separate 45-55 minute session is charged at £40 for both face to face and online sessions. Should you require a counsellor to be on-site for the entire day, then we can offer a 10% reduction on the price per session.

21:1 Sessions in Primary and Secondary Schools

A fully qualified and experienced therapist can provide one-to-one counselling sessions to children for 30-45 minutes per week for a minimum of a 6-week period. In order to make one-to-one sessions financially viable, we request a minimum of 3 children at any one time, with sessions back-to-back (a short interval is required for more than 3 children).

Each separate 30-45 minute children’s session is charged at £40. Should you require a counsellor to be on-site for the entire school day, then we can offer a 10% reduction on the price per session.

3Whole School/Year Specific Workshops

We can deliver a wide range of bespoke wellbeing workshops, covering (but not limited to) the topics of:

  • Emotional literacy

  • Anxiety and Stress

  • Managing difficult emotions

  • Self-esteem

  • Self-care and resilience

  • Sleep

  • Loss and Grief

  • Mindfulness

  • Bullying

Due to the varying ages of the children within the school, we would recommend splitting activities such that children remain in developmentally comparative cohorts. This helps us to ensure our planned activities are appropriate to their capabilities.

Each workshop session is 1 to 1.5 hours and over 1 school day, we can deliver 3 to 4 workshop sessions at a charge of £600 including materials and take home resources and in class resources.**

4Teaching and Support Staff Workshops & CPD

Our Teaching and Support Staff workshops and CPD aim to enhance and support the continuous professional development of your team and to equip them with knowledge and transferable skills regarding their own respective emotional/wellbeing processes. We can tailor the workshops and CPD to your specific needs, whether that be supporting students with PDA, how to help a student regulate, exploring the window of tolerance etc. Please get in touch to see how we can support the development of self-awareness, support strategies and contribute to your ‘whole school’ mental health investment.

Each 1.5 hour session is charged at £200 (inclusive of materials)**.

Therapist travel expenses will be incurred and invoiced at cost £0.30 per mile for all on site services.
